Darbari 2
This large piece has been on consignment in a show apartment a few years where it was used as a prop and has recently come back. It is about 38cm tall x 32cm wide. It has been made using a combination of wheel throwing and coiling and has been hand painted and finished with a shiny glaze.
Its bottom has a few circular cracks which developed during the firing process, (see the second picture on this page) however the piece is otherwise perfect and stable. This pot is a real statement piece and intented for display only.
Please only buy this piece if you are able to pick it up from Hoxton, London E2. It is too large and heavy and fragile to post.
