Darbari 1
This large piece has been on consignment in a show apartment a few years where it was used as a prop and has recently come back. It is a large piece, about 45cm tall x 38cm wide. It has been made using a combination of wheel throwing and coiling and has been hand painted and finished with a shiny glaze.
It’s bottom has a rough uneven finish as it exploded during the firing (see the second picture on this page) however the piece is otherwise perfect and does not have any cracks. This pot is a real statement piece and intented for display only.
Please only buy this piece if you are able to pick it up from Hoxton, London E2. It is too large and heavy and fragile to post.
